I love how when politicians don't know how to fix a problem, they pass idiotic laws that don't address the real issues but sound good in theory. For example, President Bush can't get shit together in Iraq so he pushes the Federal Marriage Act. Or take Mayor Williamson on Flint. We all remember Michael Moore's film Roger and Me, right?
